Strength- Based Teacher-Driven Change:
The Future for Transforming the Profession
Member-driven creativity, passion and innovation are the keys to transforming the profession. This session will provide an overview of how the CTA Institute for Teaching’s strength-based approach has empowered members to drive the change from the ground level. Find out how the IFT is working to assist our members in having a real voice in school transformation. IFT Grants can provide resources to tap into the passions that our members feel for their work in their classrooms, at their school sites and within their communities.
CTA’s Institute for Teaching Grants are intended for CTA members and chapters to support strength-based, educator-driven change. Educator grants will be awarded to individuals and small teams of educators in amounts up to $5,000. Impact grants will be awarded to associations in amounts up to $20,000. Project implementation will be in the 2018-19 school year. The deadline for your application is April 30, 2018.
